FAQs

Do you have private offices?

Yes, we have private offices for 3-4 people or 8-10 people. We also offer businesses the option to reserve an office on a part time/days per week basis.

How many people are in the shared offices?

There are no more than 8 desks in any of our office rooms and they are all spaced out around the edges of the rooms to allow plenty of distance and privacy.

Can I do conference calls in a shared office space?

Yes, it’s just like being in a normal office building with open plan spaces. People make and take video and phone calls at their desks – top tip is to use headphones on calls. For confidential calls you can book a meeting room or use one of the acoustic phone booths.

How good is the wi-fi?

We use Ubiquiti Unifi technology and our wi-fi runs consistently at 60mbps download and 12 mbps upload. Over the last 12 months we have had zero known outages during office hours. It is safe to say we have a more than adequate setup.

What other facilities are there?

  • Fair usage of A4/A3 printers plus copying and scanning, access to large format printing.

  • Secure bike lock-up.

  • Projector

  • Flat screen TV with separate camera for conferencing

  • Whiteboards and flipchart

How are memberships managed?

We use an app and secure desktop portal to manage memberships, from signup, invoicing, member profiles, room and desk bookings, events and messaging.

Is the workspace quiet or noisy?

The workspace functions like a normal office. There are 4 stories and 1, 2 or 3 rooms on each storey so people are spread out and slightly separated by the architecture of the building. There are 2 bookable meeting spaces which can be used for meetings with external visitors or for conferencing and calls. There are a further 2 bookable phone booths for call privacy. People make and take calls at their desks but generally noise levels are low. The peregrine falcons hunting from the church spire across the road are the noisiest local residents.

What are the opening hours?

Members have access to the building 24/7 and are free to come and go according to the terms of their membership plan. Part time plans require members to book a desk in advance to allow us to manage the number of users in the space.
