About us

Whether you’re a freelancer, remote worker, entrepreneur or small business owner in need of a place to work, we’d love to show you around Workshop. We believe that a co-working space is about much more than a rented desk or meeting room. Above all else our members value the community here.

The space

At Workshop they say they get more done and are surrounded by quality people to bounce ideas off, share problems with and potentially build collaborative working relationships with.

Workshop occupies a handsome Georgian townhouse opposite the Everyman Cinema and near to the Green Man pub on Southgate Street. Inside, the space looks and feels more like a private members’ club than your typical office space.

The workspaces are open plan with separate bookable meeting rooms and there are abundant plants, each individually named.

All the essentials like superfast wi-fi and locally sourced teas and coffee are included in all membership plans.

To add further value to membership we are developing a programme of events to help our community of members and broader friends connect with like-minded people and develop their skills and businesses.

You can join on a full-time basis and have a permanent desk setup, or on a flexible part-time basis and use a hot desk as you need.

We do free taster days and all our membership plans allow you to change at a month’s notice.

Curious? Send us an email and book a tour, we’ll be happy to show you around.
